The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will hold a state visit to India on 30th September and will remain till 1st October 2018, on the invitation by the President of the Republic of India Ram Nath Kovind. The Uzbek delegation is planned to discuss on the deepening of the Uzbek-India bond.
President Mirziyoyev will be meeting with President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders of India to consider on strengthing the interstate cooperation and the issues aiming the international and regional topics. The Uzbek President will meet the chief administrators of leading Indian companies in New Delhi to discuss on the particulars to uplift bilateral relations in trade-economic and investment fields which will also include the proposals for the founding the Uzbekistan – India Business Council.
During the visit, the President of Uzbekistan and the Prime Minister of India is expected to adopt a Joint Statement by signing the intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements, documents between the regions and institutions of the two countries. This bond will enhance the integrity between the two states.
Append to this, the Uzbek president had a meeting with the prime minister of India during the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit on 8th June in Shandong province of China, this year. Both the parties had the discussion to boost the economic and cultural ties.
The delegation of Uzbekistan will also visit the city of Agra, one of the universally recognized wonders – majestic Taj Mahal.
