New Delhi, 3 January 2018

Prime Minister Erna Solberg will be on a bilateral visit to India from 7-9 January 2019 with a huge business delegation.

The Prime Minister will be discussing on business cooperation, sustainable use of the oceans and implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals append to which she will be meeting the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and call on the President and Vice-President of India.

There will be an Indian-Norwegian Business Summit which will be addressed by the Norwegian Prime Minister. She will also inaugurate the new green Norwegian embassy compound in New Delhi and visit a local community to learn more about the situation for children, with a special emphasis on efforts to further education for young girls. Ms Solberg will deliver the Inaugural address at the Raisina Dialogue, the Indian government’s annual conference on geopolitics and geo-economics.

It is expected that this visit will further strengthen the Indian-Norwegian bond.
