Kazakhstan invited India in Shanghai Cooperation Org meet

New Delhi, February 9, 2017.

President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev invited Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi to participate in the meeting of the Council of Heads of Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation planned to be organised in Kazakhstan capital this year.

Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of India Bulat Sarsenbayev met with Minister of State for External Affairs of the Republic of India Mobashar Jawed Akbar and handed over the invitation letter on behalf of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi to participate in the meeting of the Council of Heads of Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, to be held on June 8-9, 2017, in Astana.
The sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in different spheres, in particular, possibilities for intensification of cooperation in the spheres of economy and trade.
