New Delhi, January 7, 2017.

The Third Dialogue between the was held on the 5th of January 2017 in New Delhi. The two councils discussed the Egyptian– Indian bilateral relations, the regional perspectives of both nations, and the evolving world order and multilateral issues.

Both delegations concluded that there is a qualitative improvement in the bilateral interaction, and agreed to the need to cooperate in the fight against terrorism. They also agreed on the need to further cooperate in the fields of culture, IT, space exploration, SDGs, and enhancing parliamentarian coordination and cooperation between election commissions of both countries as well as develop a trilateral cooperation with Africa.

Both councils agreed on the importance of safeguarding the territorial integrity of the Middle Eastern nations and to exert more efforts in United Nations reforms. The ECFA delegation called on Ambassador Amar Sinha, Secretary Economic Relations, Ministry of External Affairs of India, to discuss bilateral relations as well as update him with the fruitful outcome of the meeting of the two councils in New Delhi.
