Czech PM promoting trade in India

New Delhi, 20 January 2019

Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis met with PM Narendra Modi on 18th January, during his visit for the 9th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit on 18 January 2019 in Gandhinagar. PM Babis came with Minister of Trade and Industry Ms Marta Novakovalarge and large business delegation for the summit.

The meeting was completely progressive where discussion on a number of concrete areas of mutual cooperation held. PM Babis has invited Prime Minister Modi to visit the Czech Republic. The Prime Ministers believes in the traditionally warm bilateral relationship and are progressive for extending support to take it to a greater level.

The Czech Republic has productive manufacturing technologies in heavy machinery and precision engineering which has been invited by PM Modi in the Indian market for manufacturing in India in sectors of defence, automotive and railways. PM Babis invited nomination of an Indian scientist for the prestigious Research & Development Council in the Czech Republic.

 

Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis also visited Symbiosis International University in Pune on January 19th, 2019 where he launched the Symbiosis Centre for European Studies (SCES) which is based upon a three-fold mandate of teaching, training and outreach to foster progressive insights on EU integration.
